Douglas Meharry, President

The Center was purchased in 1985, and was immediately incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization.  In 2013 Douglas Meharry became president and director.  When he arrived the facility was losing money, but through his outstanding leadership and careful management the center is becoming financially self-sufficient. He encourages a spirit of love and kindness at the center.  The employees work together to understand and appreciate those who need help, and are happy to provide this kind of service to those who need it.

Our corporate slogan, Where Love Makes the Difference, is indicative of the care given here.  Our adult day care center exists to provide a safe place for elderly and disabled persons who do not qualify for nursing home residency, and whose families cannot take care of them during the day.

Our desire is to aid families in maintaining their elderly or disabled adults in the community, thereby postponing nursing home placement.  We provide a structured, protective setting for those who can benefit from our service.
